The Victoria College Drama Society (VCDS) is a student theatre group whose roots lie in the foundation of Victoria University’s first Drama Society in 1918. Having existed for almost a century, the Society has undergone a myriad of changes and today exists as a thriving student group and levy receiver. As a student group, it is the VCDS’ mandate to provide a forum in which students and all other U of T community members of all disciplines and backgrounds, regardless of sex, age, race, or religion, may share in the culturally enriching experience of drama. VCDS seeks to educate and broaden the life experiences of all its members and the larger U of T community through drama and its associated disciplines.
